Level-Up Experiences
The following are recommended ways for you to practice and level-up your technology skills this month within your current job. Feel free to use these suggestions or come up with your own. Once you have finished an experience, be sure to add it to your accomplishment tracker.
Learn a new technology skill
Prepare: Most careers involve at least a few technological skills. Make a list of technology skills you want to learn or that might be useful in your future career.
Take Action: Next, make your plan. Plan how and when you will practice this skill.
Reflect: After practicing consistently for a few weeks, check in to see where you are at. Make sure you continue using the skills.
Use technology to improve efficiency
Prepare: Think of certain projects or processes that could be made easier or more efficiently with technology. Discuss with your supervisor and coworkers .
Take Action: Once you have decided on a project or process that you can change, brainstorm and research types of technology that can help improve it.
Reflect: Reflect on how technology improved your work efficiency and how it can be implemented into other areas of your work.
Use technology to track goals
Prepare: Technology is a great resource for tracking goals. Brainstorm how your team can best track goals.
Take Action: After discussing goals with your team, choose how you will track these goals. This can be in a google sheet, or a project management tool such as Monday. Do your research on different tools and set up the tracking.
Reflect: After a few months of tracking your goals, reflect on how you can improve or new goals to track.
